Dear guest,
Welcome to the 2008 summer at Camelbeach. We are excited at the prospect of serving you, your family and friends as our guests this season.
The arrival of Pharaoh’s Phortress and the feedback we have received from our returning guests have led to many modifications at the resort and we wish to take a few minutes of your time to explain these changes.
Our public picnic area used to be located where Pharaoh’s Phortress now sits. This new family attraction will allow us to accommodate the large number of guests that visit Camelbeach every year and as such we have had to make a few changes to the layout of our facility.
For that reason, the public picnic area is now located outside the park in the only flat area we could identify close to the gates. And in light of the feedback we have received from past guests, we are now offering you the possibility to reserve a table for the entire day, a place that is yours to call “base camp” throughout your entire stay.
The public picnic area is free to groups of more than 20 people and there is a $10 daily charge to reserve a table of 8 people. Season pass holders get a 50% reduction on the daily rate and pay only $5 per day for a table of 8 people. Compared to the past experience where guests often saw their coolers having been moved around, you now will be provided with a reserved space and the area will be fully staffed to make it an enjoyable experience for all our guests. We have also made it easier to drop off your family in front of the Welcome and Ticketing Center.
And as you drove in today, you also probably noticed the new preferred parking area available to guests arriving slightly later in the day who wish to pay for a close-in parking space. That lot is now available for a $10 daily charge and is free to cars equipped with a handicapped tag. This change was also implemented following feedback we received from returning guests and when we looked at our competitors that sometimes charge up to $18 for all cars, we thought that this change, along with a new free shuttle service would allow us to provide a higher level of service.
So no doubt all the changes can be intimidating at first look yet you will always find the same level of friendly service at Camelbeach that you have come to be accustomed to when you visit the resort.
You are our guests and we want to know how you feel about your visit. So please send us your feedback at frontdesk@skicamelback.com in order for us to continue servicing you, your family and friends at the highest level of hospitality possible.
Please enjoy your summer at Camelbeach
